Pineapple
The name pineapple’s name comes from its close relationship with the pine cone. The pineapple was first recorded in 1398 when the name was originally was used to name the reproductive organs of a coniferous tree know as pine cones. It came to its name the pineapple when European explorers found this tropical fruit and named them pineapples, they have been called this since 1664. And since 1694 they replaced the word pineapple for the pine cone.

I think that it is a good paragraph, but it is sort of confusing. So mabe you should word it out differently. Where did the European explorers find the pineapple?
